my Photographic Journey in
by, George Kuchler
I used to love looking forward to all the "Next Chapters" in my life when I was young. I hate how those chapters get fewer and fewer when you are older. Life just seems like bl;ah and we get older. I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHING SENIORS because I get to celebrate their next chapter with them by memorializing the NOW
Right now if you are a high school senior the world is changing right under your nose. The simple fact that you are becoming an adult is a HUGE DEAL! I mean cmon....you can't drink at 18 but hey you can fight for your country! :)
I created an experience for my high school seniors that I am truly proud of. I have always been tired of the "same old same old" way of taking pictures, so creating anything uniquely mine is impressive. Today I have a senior driving in town from Baton Rouge and we are going to have a blast. I like to experience my city from all angles and we will be doing just that. It's fun for me to bring parents to locations they have never been to before, yet they have lived in New Orleans their entire lives.
One thing is for certain, your senior casuals will not look anything like your friends images because they went to the school photographer. I have friends in the industry that are school photographers and I have no disrespect for them, but our demands are very different. They have contract obligations to meet and I do not. They need to schedule a tight time frame to fit all of the senior classmates in their schedule before the deadline of the yearbook arrives.
My experience is WAAAAY MORE CHILL!
I can take a couple of hours with you and your parents to drive around downtown because I don't have the same demands. We can create awesome fashionable imagery that showcases the best version of YOU because you are relaxed and laughing with me the entire time. I dig how downtown New Orleans offers us so many colors and textures for us to create images with. Your outfits will have no problems working with a building, back street or waterway as your background. A big portion of your background will be the weather. You will always remember that awesome sunset we caught in the background or the rain that came down right at the end and you danced in the street!
*** Side Note
I have a studio as well so, if you did take your cap & gown or Tux images with your school photographer and you are not happy with them.....I'll redo them in my studio absolutely FREE! Just schedule your casuals with me and lets create better looking images of you in my studio and you'll have the perfect wallets for your friends and family.
Your next chapter is here so why not have the best senior casual experience in New Orleans for your going away party! OK, maybe not going away...but you get the point.
See you soon! Let's Do This!

Gotta love this custom designed bouquet from a door knob! Angie Mackenroth D'Ingianni was the creator of this unique piece which added some artsy flare to the session.
