street photography is therapy for the soul

During the lockdown last year I took a day to drive all over New Orleans and get lost on purpose for some unique street photography. These are a few of my favs from that day. I think I drove all over for a few hours just to get out of the house. The memory of capturing these images carry emotions only I felt. That feeling of sadness, anger, and hope were internal while driving around. The images captured was therapy for the day. Even in dark times photography elevates life to another level when you want it to. :)
